Community Heart is a UK based Registered Charity, was set up when
Nelson Mandela was elected President of free South Africa to overcome
apartheid's awful legacy. Its founder Dennis Goldberg is the Patron
of the PIN Project.
George
House Trust
George House Trust is the HIV charity for the North
West of England and an active supporter of the PIN project. GHT
provides voluntary support services for people with HIV in the North
West, together with support to carers, partners and children directly
affected by HIV.
The
Cara Trust
CARA were founded by Fr. David Randall in 1988 as a community of
friendship of people living with HIV. The word ‘Cara’
is derived from the Gaelic word for ‘friend’. Their
focus on ‘community’ and ‘friendship’ are
key aspects that continue to make Cara unique as an HIV charity.
Soroptimists
Ashton
Soroptimists International is a worldwide organisation of women
striving for the advancement of the status of women's human rights
and for equality. Ashton-under-Lyne Soroptimists have been active
supporters of the Pin project from several years.
ACTSA
- Action for Southern Africa
Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA) campaigns with the people of
Southern Africa as they strive to build a better future. Working
for peace, democracy and development across the region, ACTSA is
the successor organisation to the Anti-Apartheid Movement.
Nelson
Mandela Children Fund
The NMCF works to change the way South Africa treats its young people.
They currently fund the PIN project's community worker and office
overheads.

HelpAge International is a global network of not-for-profit organisations
with a mission to work with, and for, disadvantaged older people
worldwide to achieve a lasting improvement in the quality of their
lives.
VSO
VSO was voted top international development charity in the International
Aid and Development category at the Charity Awards 2004 for its
work in promoting innovative approaches to globalising volunteering.
The project was initially started with a small donation from VSO.

The AHPN is an alliance of African community-based organisations
and their supporters working for fair policies for people living
with HIV and AIDS in the UK, providing training, support, research

Trust (THT)
THT is the leading HIV and sexual health charity in the UK and
the largest in Europe. It was one of the first charities to be set
up in response to the HIV epidemic and has been at the forefront
of the fight against HIV and AIDS ever since.
UNAIDS
UNAIDS, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, brings together
the efforts and resources of ten UN system organizations to the global
AIDS response.
